Green Bay Packers receiver Romeo Doubs said Friday that he regrets the way he handled the situation that led to his suspension for one game due to conduct detrimental to the team.Doubs missed last Sunday’s victory over the Los Angeles Rams. He didn’t show up to the team facility on either Thursday or Friday of last week and reports surfaced that he was upset with his role. The Packers suspended Doubs for the game on Saturday.”I absolutely wish I would’ve handled things differently,” Doubs told reporters.Doubs said there were no mental health issues or physical health challenges going on with him or any family members. He initially said “no comment, man” when asked if his absences had anything to do with unhappiness over the offense.”It’s much bigger than just obviously me individually finding my role,” Doubs said. “In this league, it’s just winning football games.”Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Doubs will play in Sunday’s home game against the Arizona Cardinals.Doubs addressed the team earlier this week to explain his side of the story.
