Maybe the only thing hotter than the warm weather in Wisconsin over Memorial Day weekend were the Milwaukee Brewers’ bats.
On Friday, after a flurry of transactions, the Brewers turned in a dramatic 4-3 win in 10 innings over the New York Mets.

On Sunday, the Brewers stayed hot and beat the Mets 9-8.
And finally on Memorial Day, the Brewers opened up a three-game homestead against the St. Louis Cardinals with an 8-3 win.
So in the final week of May, the Brewers are now 35-20 — the best record in the National League — with a 4.5-game cushion in the NL Central.
