Before the draft, we wondered if the Green Bay Packers might spend an early pick –– possibly second or third round — on a wide receiver.
Instead, they spent three late-round picks on wide receivers J’Mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown. Today on the Friday Film Room, Andy Herman breaks down the rookie receivers, along with some of the guys already on the roster. (Who’s going to step up after Davante Adams and Randall Cobb?)
Moore was the first pick of the bunch, and he certainly has the tools.
I love so much about J’Mon Moore but it’s plays like this that really set him apart for me. These hitch plays have been such a staple of McCarthys offense & here Moore shows he can take a 10 yard hitch & turn it into points. The broken tackle + the stiff arm. Pure 💪 from Moore. pic.twitter.com/Z1vLfAzDKM

Valdes-Scantling has some wheels, too.
Not to be outdone, Marquez Valdes-Scantling isn’t afraid to take a quick hitch to the house either… 👀 pic.twitter.com/E6rhgVdWEd
