What a way to start the 2018 NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Thursday, we saw a buzzer-beater to send a lovable No. 11 seed Loyola-Chicago into the Round of 32. (And 98-year old Sister Jean has gone viral.)
Friday, we saw our first No. 16 seed upset over a No. 1 when UMBC blew out the top overall seed Virginia. (And Tony Bennett handled the loss with pure class.)
Saturday, Loyola had another late jumper to go into the Sweet 16. (But Jordan Poole’s buzzer-beater for Michigan was the shot of the day.)
And finally, Sunday, both North Carolina and Michigan State were eliminated, but the big story was Nevada’s 22-point comeback to beat Cincinnati. (It was the second-largest comeback in tournament history.)
Got all that?
