The United States men’s curling team (Team Shuster) defeated Canada Thursday morning (our time) to move on to the Gold Medal game. Last night, the United States women’s hockey team defeated Canada to win Gold.
Overall, it’s been a pretty good stretch for the Americans.
Of course, curler Matt Hamilton (and his mustache, and sister Becca) joined “Air it Out” twice on the air before heading to the Olympic Games. The Hamiltons both graduated from McFarland High School, as did Marques. (Class of 2009.) Clearly, “The Fan Karma” is real.
