He’s baaaaaack. The Milwaukee Bucks announced that Jabari Parker will return Friday when the team takes on the New York Knicks.
Parker has a suffered a torch ACL — twice — on the same left knee, since he entered the NBA. Prior to Parker’s injury last season Feb. 8, he was averaging 20.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in 51 games.
The Bucks are 4-0 since Joe Prunty took over as the interim coach in place of Jason Kidd. Prunty said after Monday’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers that the team plans to take it one step at a time with Parker.
“(Parker) has worked so hard to get back, things have kind of been in stages,” Prunty said. “Now that he’s back, it’ll still kind of be like that.”
