When the first big move of the NBA offseason went down, Chris Paul got all the headlines.

“The Chris Paul trade sent the all-star point guard to Houston…”

But here in Wisconsin, the trade may as well have been known as “The Sam Dekker trade.” Dekker left the University of Wisconsin after his junior year, following back-to-back trips to the Final Four, the second of which as the national runner-up to Kentucky.

Now going into his third NBA season, Dekker will see a little blue added to his uniform as he was part of the deal that landed him with the Los Angeles Clippers.
