Only a week ago, the Milwaukee Brewers were coming off a big win over the Atlanta Braves. They were a season-high 18 games over .500 at 54-36.
One week later, the Brewers are coming off a crushing loss Sunday in Pittsburgh; they’re on a season-high six-game losing streak, and are 55-43 on the season. (Two games back of the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central)
How quickly things can change.
Sunday’s loss to the Pirates was tough to swallow, as they hoped to turn things around, at least temporarily, before the break. However, the Brewers fell victim to the walkoff, and instead, hit the All-Star Break with a lot to think about. (Check out Tom Haudricourt’s game story at JSOnline.com)
