Former Packers linebacker Brady Poppinga joins “Air it Out” every Thursday.
Last week, we discussed a pretty hilarious exchange on Twitter in which Poppinga mis-interpreted a video of Snoop Dogg working out, and instead, thought it was 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman. (Side note: Brady also told us a great story about when Aaron Rodgers told him he wasn’t worried about the outside pass rush. Only the interior pass rush.)
This week, we’ll address yet another example of Brady’s online greatness, as he posted a video of himself dunking at 39 years old. (And after a plethora of football-related injuries)
Herniated disc, 2 ACL reconstructions, meniscus removal l, Chronic knee pain/ swelling, 8 years in the @NFL, 5 years since retiring, 39 in Sep., 250lbs. If the XPT can do this for me imagine if you are just starting or in the middle of ur athletic journey. https://t.co/33ITYAKxcF pic.twitter.com/4Oi0FyviXO

Of course, this led to some good-natured ribbing from some of his former teammates.
Looking good buddy, no way @OfficialAJHawk or @SpencerHavner could do this https://t.co/DmvWR0mfJi
