The Milwaukee Bucks got what they wanted in the 2018 NBA Draft. What they wanted was Donte DiVincenzo.
“Donte was our guy,” Bucks general manager Jon Horst said. “If you were up there and saw the elation in our room when he got there, we were worried about it, we thought he was going to go a bit before us.”
DiVincenzo was the Most Outstanding Player at this year’s Final Four, powering Villanova to a National Championship with a 31-point performance off the bench.
It’s hard to find a downside to this one. As Gary D’Amato put it for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Bucks got exactly what they were looking for.
