Josh Jackson was a popular mock draft projection to the Green Bay Packers — in the first round.
Instead, the Packers got Jackson in the second round, and picked another cornerback, Jaire Alexander, in round one. After their first two selections in the draft, the Packers crossed off their need at cornerback.
Alexander and Jackson will join last year’s top pick Kevin King, and veterans Tramon Williams and Davon House in the cornerback room in Green Bay.
Jackson led the nation last season with eight interceptions, including a pair of interceptions returned for touchdown against the Wisconsin Badgers.
