The Milwaukee Bucks take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight in their regular-season finale. As things currently stand, the Bucks are the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, while the 76ers are the No. 3 seed.
Both teams have something to play for tonight, as the 76ers would surely rather see the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics — minus Kyrie Irving — in the East Semifinals, rather than the No. 1 seed Toronto Raptors. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers — and LeBron James — are lurking, just one-game back of the 76ers. (Therefore, the 76ers will have every reason to beat the Bucks tonight.)
And the Bucks want to beat the 76ers because that would earn them the No. 6 seed, and perhaps more importantly, it would mean they get to keep their draft pick. (Which was protected in the Eric Bledsoe trade.)
Got all that? (If not, check out JSOnline’s breakdown.)
