Bucks beat Hawks, now 9-2 under Joe Prunty

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 97-92 Tuesday, improving to 32-24 on the season, and 9-2 under interim coach Joe Prunty.

The Bucks trailed at halftime and sputtered offensively for much of the first half. Giannis scored just 15 points, roughly half of his normal scoring output, but the Bucks went on a 14-2 run in the third quarter to take a double-digit lead. The biggest highlight of the night featured a big block by Eric Bledsoe, which turned into a Jabari Parker “double-poster” dunk on the other end.

The Bucks host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday before the All-Star Break.
