G-League contracts are a little different than NBA contracts, as players don’t sign with a specific team. Instead, they sign with the league, and go through waivers, as pointed out by 2 Ways & 10 Days.
The Bucks drafted Jennings No. 10 overall in 2009, and he played eight years in the NBA. Most recently, Jennings played in China, where he averaged more than 27 points per game.
