American snowboarder Chloe Kim — 17 years old — had already won the women’s halfpipe before she went on her final run. She proceeded to go on a near-perfect run before celebrating her gold medal.
Kim became the youngest female gold medalist on snow. She also became the first female to land consecutive 1080s in the halfpipe at the Olympics. It was a record-breaking day, indeed. (Read the full story at CNN.com)
