Packers head coach Mike McCarthy held his season-ending press conference today at Lambeau Field.

He made a few things clear:

1. The Packers fell short of their “standard” in 2017.
2. The coach’s relationship with the general manager is very important.
   1. RELATED: He’s very close with Russ Ball, who he’s known since 2003.
3. He felt it was time to add “external resources” to both the offensive and defensive coaching staff.
