The Kansas City Chiefs remain the NFL’s last unbeaten team after a 29-20 win Monday night over the Washington Redskins.
But, if you bet on the game, you either benefitted from the game’s final play or you’re on the verge of pulling your hair out.
As an 7.5-point favorite, the Chiefs needed to scoop-and-score Washington’s final lateral-desperation-no-chance-of working play in order to cover the spread. Also, the over-under was 48.5 points. Clearly, the “under” was safe until the wacky final play unfolded, thus making the total 49. (Check out the breakdown at CBSSports.com)
