fTonight, the Vegas Golden Knights will be on the clock to begin their first NHL season with the expansion draft.

Many expect the Golden Knights to be competitive in their inaugural season because of the veteran talent available to them. (Check out some of the top players available at CBSSports.com)

NHL teams had the opportunity to “protect” some of their players, but still, the Golden Knights should assemble a respectable team right out of the gates. Can you imagine if the NFL had a similar “draft” tonight, and the Packers could only “protect” so many of their assets?
