Bucks co-owner Wes Edens introduced the new general manager Jon Horst (right) Monday at a press conference. The 34-year-old Horst will take over for John Hammond, who left for a similar position with the Orlando Magic.
But during the presser, something Edens said stole the spotlight.
“Guys in Philly want to talk about the process,” Edens said. “I’d rather talk about the results.”
Of course, the 76ers have adopted the slogan “trust the process,” in reference to, well, not being very good and stacking up draft picks with one eye on the future. On the flip side, the Bucks, go with “own the future,” which is, essentially the same thing. (Not to mention the fact that the Bucks don’t have too many “results” to brag about.)
76ers center Joel Embiid took to Twitter to display his amusement with Edens’s comment. (Check out the Philadelphia angle HERE)
