A couple weeks before the 2017 NFL Draft, Vince Biegel joined The Fan and spoke about the possibility of playing for the Green Bay Packers. “That’s definitely an interesting proposition, and I would love to go to the Green Bay Packers,” Biegel said. “Obviously, I’m from the state of Wisconsin … Would I love to play for the Green Bay Packers? Absolutely.”
“I’m a huge fan of them, they’re a great team, they’re a 3-4 (defense), there’s a lot of great things to like.”
Now, less than a week after the draft, Biegel’s dream becomes a reality; he’s a Green Bay Packer. With the first pick in the fourth round, the Packers picked Biegel, instead of trading out of the spot. As it turns out — via The Packers Wire — the Packers may have lost Biegel, had they opted to move down. Fortunately for Biegel and the Packers, the match was made with pick No. 108.
Vince Biegel joins Marques, Bill and Rookie this morning at 9 AM to kick off “Air it Out.” (Stream online at TheFan1075.com)
